MACHU PICCHU
Hike to the ancient city of Machu Picchu.

Machu Picchu should be on everybody’s bucket list. Full stop. No doubt about it. And luckily there’s a range of ways to do it. Choose from the challenging 4-day tradition Inca trail trek with camping and some steep and long climbs, an alternative trek that includes down-hill mountain biking, more gentle trekking and hotel accommodation or simply do it in grand style arriving on the luxurious Belmond Hiram Bingham train. Whichever way you get there you won’t be disappointed. It’s one of the most magical places on earth!
The historic sanctuary is a place that captivates tourists not only for its dazzling architectural beauty but also for its important historical-cultural. Located on top of a mountain in the middle of a tropical forest. Areas declared Cultural and Natural Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO, it is probably the most amazing architectural of the Inca Empire, with steep mountains.

Machu Picchu is open year-round. October through April is the official rainy season, but it can rain at any time, whilst the peak season is in July and August, you should always expect crowds.
